The Universal Studios theme park in Florida celebrates past and present movie hits with a series of rides and attractions.

Typical costs:

  • One-day tickets to Universal Studios Orlando[1] cost $88 for adults and $82 for children. A family of four can expect to pay about $340.
  • A two-day pass into Universal Studios Orlando will cost about $120 per adult and $110 for children. Three-day single-park tickets cost $136 per adult and $124 for children, while a four-day pass costs about $146 for adults or $133 for children. A family of four may pay $460-$558, depending on number of days chosen.
  • One-day, park-to-park admission is priced $123 for adults or $117 for children, and includes both Universal Studios Florida and the adjacent Universal's Islands of Adventure[2] . A two-day pass to both parks costs about $140 for adults and $130 per child. Three-day passes cost about $153 adult or $141 children, while four-day park-to-park admission costs about $160 adult, $147 children. Depending on the number of days chosen, a family of four may expect to pay about $480-$514 for the two-park tickets.
  • Several annual pass[3] options to Universal Studios Florida are available. The Power Pass is priced about $165 and includes black-out dates. What should be included:
  • Most rides and attractions at the park are typically included in the ticket price.
Additional costs:
  • Outside food and beverages are not allowed in the park. A variety of dining options are available from hamburgers $7-$9, pizza slices $6.50-$7 or hot dogs at $7.50. Expect to pay about $40-$50 for a family of four, depending on food and beverage choices. Universal Meal Deals[4] offer all-you-can-eat dining options at several locations between both parks and cost about $21 per adult, $10 per child with a $9 unlimited drink add on. Beer prices are $5.50-$7.
  • General parking costs $15 for cars, $20 for preferred parking and $20 for RV's or buses.
  • Hotels on the Universal Studios Orlando property cost about $220-$650 per night, depending on location and travel dates and offer the advantage during multi-day stays of not requiring any driving at the end of a long park day and quick access to attractions in the morning. For example, the on-site Hard Rock Hotel[5] offers rooms for about $280-$650, depending on travel date and room size. Travel a few miles from the park for a hotel priced about $40-$350. For example, the Orlando Metropolitan Express[6] prices double occupancy rooms at about $65-$85, depending on room size and travel date.
  • Kennels[7] are available outside the park gates for guests traveling with pets. Cost is $15 and operating hours are the same as the park. Overnight stays are not allowed.
Discounts:
  • Purchase multi-day passes for a savings of about $24 for adults or $54 for children versus buying two separate day entrances. Annual passes offer the greatest per-visit discounts, depending on package and expected number of visits during the year.
  • Military discounts[8] and special multi-day tickets are available, but tickets must be purchased prior to park arrival.
  • Online savings[9] vary from $20 off per multi-day ticket purchased to coupons good at selected park restaurants and merchandise locations.
  • AAA members[10] save about $10-$35 on park tickets, depending number of days chosen. Members may also receive discounts on annual passes.
  • Off-season ticket discounts may be found by purchasing the annual pass for the following year during the late fall or early winter. Winter hotel rates, excluding holidays, are typically lower than the same length of stays during the summer.

2 adults/2children-on site hotel 2 day admissions park to park alone cost nearly $2.000. Food prices are OUTRAGEOUS & we come from Manhattan. Cabana Bay Hotel at nearly $400 per day offered NO elite hotel services. Service staff was lacking & room was mediocre at best. Bowling $50? Believe it.
